We’re not so sure about snails and their slime all over our faces but see what you think. One of the latest skin care regimens comes from Tokyo where they use snails and the slime they leave behind on your face because it contains “proteins, antioxidants and hyaluronic acid, which help skin retain moisture, reduce inflammation and remove dead skin.”

This author is a little freaked out about the whole suction component if the snails get a little too close to the eyes, nostrils or mouth. But the parasite, worms and disease factors would rule this option out for sure.
